We eat at least 3 meals everyday. At least, everyone eats. Meals are just part and parcel of life. So this blog is created by a food lover to other food lovers like me out there.

Kopitiam Hoong Cheong

Chicken rice is often made lunch for most chinese when we talk about eating out. The usual chicken rice usually comes roasted or steamed. However this place has made a twist to it. Instead of hanging roasted chicken at the window of the stall for display, this stall offers fried chicken. The sole reason why the coffee shop is fully packed at lunch hours. The stall also offers char siew, lap qiong, lobak and a chat. The fried chicken constantly emptying the plates of the stall to the customers' and fresh fried chicken from the back of the stall is constantly refilling the front. That's part of the attractive part of the stall, fresh and hot served. The only one bad factor to this stall is, if you are not a fan of monosodium glutamate, you would feel that food served here are rich in it's taste. But come on, who would enjoy a tasteless food and it's not like you are having them everyday.

This is the front of Kopitiam Hoong Cheong. Directly opposite Ayamas in town.

This are the pricing list of the food sold here. Although it's a bit pricey compared to the normal common  chicken rice stall, it's worth it.

The line here is usually long especially during lunch time.

She never stop serving.

One thing to add, she rarely smiles=P
